The 1/144 scale model kit series "Accessory Set Gunpla" from BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan recently announced the sixth product, "Valuable Pod," scheduled for release in July 2024.
The Valuable Pod originates from the 2013 anime "Gundam Build Fighters," serving as the support unit mounted on the back of the Gyan Vulcan Gunpla used by the character Susumu Sazaki. Its backpack integrates with additional shoulder armor housing beam sabers, and it is equipped with two long-barreled vulcan cannons. Its signature two large round shields are still present and can also be mounted on the support unit.
The "1/144 Accessory Set Gunpla 06 (Valuable Pod)" is a re-release of the HGBC version from 2014 under a new series name. The kit content similarly includes one Valuable Pod unit and Gyan head replacement parts, allowing it to be combined with the separately sold "HG 1/144 Gyan" to assemble the Gyan Vulcan. Furthermore, the Valuable Pod can be equipped with other separately sold HG series mobile suits using the included adapter parts.
