The Danish LEGO toy company recently announced an exciting new product set to be released on May 1, 2024: the "43248 Mood Cubes" from Inside Out 2! The suggested retail price is US$34.99.
This "Mood Cubes" set, assembled from 394 pieces, utilizes two cubes to display 9 LEGO flat mosaic-style characters from Inside Out 2, representing 9 distinct emotions. These include Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, as well as the newly introduced Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment. Within a 6x6 grid, each emotion's unique visual characteristics are vividly recreated. Additionally, there are three sides featuring sticker-style decorations. These two cubes can be displayed on a base that includes a brain control console. As a display piece, it's not only incredibly cute but could also unexpectedly serve as a fun way to communicate and express emotions. The set includes minifigures of Joy, Anxiety, and the Foreman located inside the brain. The minifigure faithfully recreating Anxiety's head sculpt is absolutely fantastic! It feels like you could create some very interesting scenes with it.
