From Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's popular action figure series 'figma', today announced the latest product from the theatrical anime film《GRIDMAN UNIVERSE》, "Gridman (Universe Fighter)", scheduled for release in November 2024.
When Gridman was exploited by the mastermind and gradually merged with the universe he formed, the "Gridman Universe", Akane Shinjo in the real world transformed into the "New Order" form, akin to a kaiju user. She utilized the sealed power of "Aggrexis Cleo" to assist Rikka and others in crisis, and further transformed the images and beliefs collectively drawn by Yuta, Rikka, Utsumi, Yomogi, Yume, and Chise into a powerful new force, allowing Gridman to evolve into his Universe Fighter form.
The "figma Gridman (Universe Fighter)" is produced with a fully articulated specification, standing approximately 16 cm tall. It utilizes new parts and rich metallic paintwork to recreate the new theatrical form, continuing the powerful physique designed by Ryu Sakano for the TV version "Primal Fighter", featuring a smaller head proportion, an inverted triangular upper body, and other dynamic features. It also meticulously sculpts the rich armor layers and cool, sharp lines. With its excellent full-body articulation, dynamic battle poses can be achieved, and it can be combined with the included effect parts to recreate the scene of firing the "Gridman Beam"!
This product can also be combined with the separately sold "THE GATTAI Gridman (Universe Fighter) & Big Goldburn" to recreate the scene of firing the Grid Hyper Fixer Beam.
