Japanese toy manufacturer ALTER (アルター), known for releasing numerous high-quality bishoujo figures, has announced a new product based on the anime "Akebi-chan's Sailor Uniform" – the "Akebi Komichi" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 20,680 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025!
"Akebi-chan's Sailor Uniform" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Hiro, which was adapted into a TV anime by CloverWorks in 2022. The story follows the protagonist, Akebi Komichi, who enrolls in her mother's alma mater, Roubai Academy Junior High, hoping to wear a sailor uniform. Upon admission, she discovers that the school had already abolished the sailor uniform style, making Akebi Komichi the only student in the entire school wearing one. Hiro's exquisite drawing skills bring the female characters in the work to life, blurring the lines between reality and two-dimensionality. The girls' cute appearances and various delicate expressions always captivate viewers!
This Akebi Komichi 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 25 cm tall. It is based on Akebi Komichi's sailor uniform appearance from the anime, depicting her in a running and waving pose. The sculpting meticulously captures various details of the sailor uniform, from the pleats of the skirt and the dynamic movement of the bow on her chest to the texture of the elastic band on her socks, all showcasing the light and beautiful essence of the original work!
