US toy brand MEZCO TOYZ, renowned for producing large-scale horror IP action figures in its MDS MEGA SCALE series, following "Freddy", has once again launched a new horror-themed product – the "Beetlejuice" talking figure, with a suggested retail price of US$98, expected to be released in Q3 2024!
"Beetlejuice" is a horror-comedy film directed by Tim Burton in 1988, telling the story of a young couple who, after dying, wish to continue living in their former home and thus enlist the infamous Beetlejuice to scare away the new residents. "Beetlejuice" is also set to welcome a sequel this September, which is highly anticipated!
This Beetlejuice figure stands approximately 38 cm tall, featuring his iconic black and white striped suit made from fabric material. The large eyes and tartar-filled teeth, in this cute-version proportion, make Beetlejuice's face appear even more grotesque and eerie. The figure boasts 11 points of articulation, allowing for simple posing, and includes five sound effects, enabling Beetlejuice to utter classic lines from the movie such as "You're working with a professional here!"
