American renowned toy brand Hasbro recently announced new additions to its Star Wars-themed 3.75-inch action figure "The Vintage Collection" series, which recreates the classic Kenner packaging, at San Francisco's WonderCon 2024. These new products, based on the Star Wars live-action series "Ahsoka" and the animated series "Star Wars: Rebels," will feature 3.75-inch action figures of Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, and Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios. They are expected to be released in July and August 2024, respectively!
The story of "Star Wars: Rebels" takes place 14 years after the execution of Order 66 and 5 years before the events of "Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope," chronicling the tale of a group of rebels, led by former Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, fighting against the Galactic Empire. The narrative of "Star Wars: Rebels" was also continued last year with the release of the spin-off series "Ahsoka."
The three characters released this time, Ezra, Kanan, and Zeb, are crafted with Ezra's appearance from "Ahsoka," while Kanan and Zeb are based on their classic animated designs, faithfully reproducing each character's physique. From the behind-the-scenes photos recently shared by the official channels on social media, it can be seen that these action figures can be combined and played with the "The Vintage Collection Ghost," which was previously crowdfunded on Hasbro Pulse via the HasLab program, recreating various scenes of the crew on board the ship. This is highly anticipated!
