Japanese toy company FREEing (FREEing Co., Ltd.) has announced a new product based on the anime "TIGER×DRAGON!" – the "Taiga Aisaka Bare Leg Tiger Ver." 1/4 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 29,700 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2024!
"TIGER×DRAGON!" (Toradora!) is a light novel series written by Yuyuko Takemiya and illustrated by Yasu. It was adapted into an anime by J.C.STAFF in 2008. The story is a school romantic comedy that follows the kind-hearted but intimidating male protagonist, Ryuji Takasu, and the short-tempered, petite female protagonist, Taiga Aisaka, known as the "Palmtop Tiger." They form an alliance after realizing they both have crushes on each other's best friends.
This "Taiga Aisaka Bare Leg Tiger Ver." 1/4 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 35 cm tall. It is a modified version of the previously released "Taiga Aisaka Tiger Ver.", retaining most of the original version's dynamic pose and details, capturing Taiga's adorably embarrassed expression. The outfit recreates the smooth texture of a latex leotard with a glossy paint finish, highlighting Taiga's graceful figure under the light. The tiger ears and tail design give her a playful look. The sole and most significant difference in this version is the removal of the original fishnet stockings, revealing Taiga's fair thighs, allowing the body lines to extend smoothly from the leotard to her toes. This simple modification significantly enhances the alluring charm of this piece!
