The Danish LEGO toy company's original design series "LEGO DREAMZzz," themed around dreams, has unveiled three new sets that this editor personally finds incredibly impressive! The set numbers are 71478, 71484, 71485. It currently appears these new sets will be released on August 1, 2024, while the second season of the DREAMZzz animated series, "Trials of the Dream Chasers," will begin airing on May 17.
"LEGO DREAMZzz" is an original theme that took five years to develop, with approximately 23,000 children and 7,000 consumers participating in research and surveys. Tommy Andreasen and Tommy Kalmar of the LEGO Group spent five years delving into dreams and sleep, and the final result is this DREAMZzz LEGO series that can present two worlds: "waking reality" and "fantastical dreamland"! The main story tells of characters like Izzie, Mateo, Cooper, and others embarking on a series of extraordinary adventures in the "Dream Realm," using their imagination to defeat the "Nightmare King." The LEGO Group also hopes that through these bricks, children can subconsciously overcome the problem of having nightmares.
Tommy Andreasen and Tommy Kalmar are also the showrunners for "LEGO Ninjago."
▼ "LEGO DREAMZzz" also produced an animated series that allows players to better enter the fantastical world and deeply understand each character. It's so clever to have adults watch it with children, and then go out and buy LEGO sets to play with at home after watching!
And the three new sets revealed early this morning will definitely make your eyes light up! Whether it's Cooper's Robot Dinosaur C-Rex, which this editor personally thinks is the coolest, or the Knight Battle Mech, which uses a large number of transparent green bricks and utilizes curved and circular parts to outline an amazing shape, or even the Midnight Raven, which belongs to the villain faction but has a truly captivating appearance – each set boasts a very high level of completeness and excellent design. The color schemes are also developed according to the story characters' settings; the black and purple tones of the Midnight Raven, just like the previous "71469 Nightmare Shark Ship," deliver a quite impactful visual effect! Coupled with the reconfigurable building, multiple construction options, and the accompanying minifigure lineup that each set offers, wow, it's truly exciting!
