BANDAI CANDY, the confectionery toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product in its chocolate surprise egg toy series, 'CHOCO SAP', the 'CHOCO SAP Chiikawa', based on the popular manga "Chiikawa", is scheduled for release in July 2024.
The 'CHOCO SAP' series features a hollow sphere made of half milk chocolate and half white chocolate, encasing a capsule containing a toy. After enjoying the candy, you can open the mysterious capsule to reveal a random model toy. Each toy measures approximately 45-55mm, boasting excellent detail for a confectionery toy, with transfer printing used to reproduce intricate color applications. Each also comes with a dedicated display stand.
The second product in the series, 'CHOCO SAP Chiikawa', includes a total of 16 types of toys, including one secret version, available randomly. Within the 45-55mm size, characters such as Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Otter, Chestnut Manju, Shisa, Momonga, Furuhonya, That Kid, and Armor-san are meticulously reproduced. They are paired with various small items, dialogue plates, and bases to recreate famous scenes from the manga, bringing the cute, healing, gentle, kind, and slightly dark and melancholic world of "Chiikawa" to life in the palm of your hand!
