Danish LEGO toy company recently unveiled information about its next gift-with-purchase set, featuring the numbered 40684 "Fruit Store"! Currently, the international acquisition method is to receive it for free when spending over 200 Euros on the LEGO official website between April 15th and 25th, 2024.
The format of this gift-with-purchase is somewhat similar to the previous four Houses of the World sets, all featuring exquisite houses built at a micro-scale, offering both a beautiful exterior and a certain degree of interior detail within a compact size; this new series is shops, and this set is the second in the shop series, following "40680 Flower Store". The first floor boasts a vibrant red and white awning and wooden shelves filled with fruits. The second floor features a largely symmetrical blue-green exterior wall, with small flowers planted on the balcony. However, seeing the balcony built with chocolate-colored bricks, one might momentarily mistake it for a gingerbread house (laughs). The construction method for the sloped roof is also excellent.
This set contains a total of 337 pieces, and once assembled, it stands approximately 11 cm tall. It's a charming little building, but if many buildings of the same specification are gathered together, it would still be quite impressive. The editor personally believes that this type of house is very suitable as a model to inspire creativity. Even if you don't necessarily meet the purchase threshold to acquire this set, you can definitely try to build your own unique house models using these specifications.
