SEGA's SEGA Prize "Premium Chokonose" sitting pose series, in addition to "Kaito Kid," will soon release another new product themed after "Detective Conan"—the "Conan Edogawa Lying Down Ver." figure. It is scheduled to be released as a prize item in mid-May 2024!
This year's 24th theatrical film in the "Detective Conan" series, "Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram," begins with a予告信 (heist notice) from the phantom thief Kaito Kid to the Axe-e Corporation's collection vault in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Conan will outwit him to unravel numerous mysteries. The film premiered in Japan on April 12th last week and is highly anticipated for its release in Taiwan on June 28th!
This Conan Edogawa Lying Down Ver. figure measures approximately 6 cm in length, depicting Conan lying on his stomach with his legs raised and one hand propping up his chin in an adorable pose. His sneakers are removed, leaving only his socks, giving the impression that he is on a bed or tatami mat, ready for a good rest. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the wrinkles and texture of Conan's blue suit, and the glasses are rendered with transparent material, capturing every detail of this elementary school detective's relaxed posture!
