Chinese statue manufacturer LIMIT Studio recently partnered with Hong Kong brand Penguin Toys to obtain official authorization, and will launch another "One Piece" themed work alongside "Portgas D. Ace" – the "Marshall D. Teach" 1/6 scale statue. It is limited to 300 units overseas and is expected to ship in Q3 2024!
In the series, the former Whitebeard Pirates crew member Blackbeard – Marshall D. Teach – murdered his friend, Fourth Division Commander Thatch, to obtain the coveted "Dark-Dark Fruit" and subsequently fled the Whitebeard Pirates. He was then pursued by Fire Fist Ace, leading to a climactic duel on Banaro Island that would change the course of the entire world.
This "Marshall D. Teach" 1/6 scale statue stands approximately 70 cm tall, depicting Blackbeard in his "Black Hole" stance as he confronts Ace on Banaro Island. It faithfully recreates Blackbeard's robust physique and the texture and details of his clothing, meticulously rendering the jewelry on his hands. Behind him, dark purple transparent effect parts illustrate the power of the Dark-Dark Fruit, with a swirling dynamic that seems to devour everything. Displaying this piece alongside the concurrently released Ace statue allows fans to recreate the thrilling duel scene from Banaro Island in the series!
