GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" from Japan is releasing a PVC figure of "POP UP PARADE Jonathan Joestar," the protagonist of "Phantom Blood," based on the popular series "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure"! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2024!
Born into the aristocratic Joestar family in late 19th-century England, the protagonist Jonathan Joestar (ジョナサン・ジョースタ, commonly known as Jona-san or Big JoJo) was educated by his father from a young age, possessing the pride of a nobleman and living with the goal of being a helpful gentleman. From his youth, he was constantly persecuted by his adoptive brother Dio Brando. After Dio donned the Stone Mask and became a vampire, Jonathan, to fight against him, learned "Hamon" from Baron William A. Zeppeli, embodying the spirit of a gentleman throughout his life.
The "POP UP PARADE Jonathan Joestar" PVC figure stands approximately 19 cm tall, faithfully recreating Jonathan's muscular physique. His JoJo pose, with both hands raised above his head, further emphasizes his massive chest and arm muscles, along with his exposed, toned waist. The clothing features dynamic wrinkle sculpting that follows the figure's well-defined contours, making it incredibly captivating! What do you think of his serious gentlemanly expression combined with his impeccably clean, exposed armpits?
