To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," BANDAI CANDY, the popular candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product, "Fuunsaiki," from its popular candy toy series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," scheduled for release in September 2024.
Fuunsaiki is the beloved white steed of Master Asia, the Undefeated of the East. After Master Asia won the "Mobile Horse" prize at the 12th Gundam Fight, he entrusted it to Fuunsaiki to pilot. Just as human Gundam Fighters wear battle suits when piloting Gundams, Fuunsaiki also has its own dedicated battle bodysuit. The colossal Fuunsaiki possesses the ability to travel on land, fly, and even navigate in space beyond the atmosphere, greatly enhancing the mobility of Master Gundam piloted by Master Asia.
The "G-FRAME FA Fuunsaiki" is produced with a completely new sculpt, boasting a large size of 17 cm in height and 17.5 cm in length. It features high-density armor details in the original G-FRAME FA style, and its eyes are painted with metallic green to express a glowing texture. Although it does not have the articulated inner frame typically found in Mobile Suit products, Fuunsaiki still possesses extremely flexible articulation. When combined with its dedicated display stand, it can recreate a rearing pose on its hind legs. Accessories include a 30 cm long, freely bendable beam reins, which, when paired with the separately sold Master Gundam and God Gundam, can recreate its iconic riding poses from the series.
