Bandai Spirits' "Special Memorize" series, which recreates props from various childhood anime, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the classic anime "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch". Following the previously released "Aqua-Pitch" transform devices for the three main characters and the "E-Pitch Microphone", they have announced the release of multiple "Aqua-Pitch" transform devices for the mermaid princesses of all oceans, completing this collection! The suggested retail price is 4,950 JPY per item, with an estimated release in November 2024!
"Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch" is a Japanese manga series written by Michiko Yokote and illustrated by Pink Hanamori, which was adapted into an anime in 2003 by Actas and Synergy SP. The series features eight mermaids from the seven seas who fight enemies with song and dance. Their dazzling designs and the catchy songs, specially translated and dubbed for its broadcast in Taiwan, are undoubtedly cherished childhood memories for many 90s and millennial toy enthusiasts!
Following the immense popularity of the previous Special Memorize "Aqua-Pitch" transform devices for Lucia, Hanon, and Rina, this release completes the collection by introducing the transform devices for the remaining five princesses: Antarctic Ocean Mermaid Princess "Karin Karen", Arctic Ocean Mermaid Princess "Karin Noel", South Pacific Ocean Mermaid Princess "Cocolo Coco", and Indian Ocean Mermaid Princess "Oribito Sara" and "Oribito Seira". The products perfectly recreate the transform device designs from the series. By pressing the pearl in the center, you can play the anime's transformation insert song "Kodo" (Japanese original version), singing the classic line "Who waits in the stormy sea, we are strong children". Seira's transform device, however, features her transformation music "Birth Of Love"!
Furthermore, each transform device can play an additional bonus song by long-pressing the central pearl. This release also marks the re-sale of Lucia, Hanon, and Rina's Aqua-Pitch transform devices, making it a perfect opportunity to collect all the mermaid princesses' transform devices at once!
Karin Karen: "Kodo" / "Aurora no Kaze"
Karin Noel: "Kodo" / "Nanairo no Kaze" (Seven-person chorus version)
Cocolo Coco: "Kodo" / "Kibou no Kaneoto" (Seven-person chorus version)
Oribito Sara: "Kodo" / "Return to the Sea"
