Japanese model manufacturer KAIYODO's large soft vinyl kit series, "MEGA SOFUBI KIT," will revive a classic work from the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" theme, releasing the "EVA Unit-01 MEGA SOFUBI KIT Reissue Edition." The suggested retail price is 16,500 JPY, with an anticipated release in July 2024!
Takashi Kinoshita, a renowned sculptor affiliated with KAIYODO and widely regarded as Japan's foremost Ultraman sculptor, is bringing back his classic "MEGA SOFUBI Collection No.4 Evangelion Unit 01 SOFUBI KIT," originally released in 1997, after many years! This rare piece showcases Kinoshita-sensei's interpretation of EVA Unit-01 with an Ultraman-esque style, presenting a more human-like proportion for the Unit-01. Once assembled, its substantial size of nearly 45 cm allows for a detailed appreciation of the exquisite and dignified sculpting across all parts of the body! Experience a unique sense of nostalgia.
