America's renowned toy brand Hasbro unveiled several Star Wars-themed products during the recently concluded Star Wars Day. Today, we're bringing you a look at a new Amazon-exclusive pre-order item from Hasbro's Star Wars The Black Series – the "Emperor Palpatine & Throne" 6-inch action figure set, with a suggested retail price of US$44.99, expected to ship in March 2025!
Emperor Palpatine's throne is a scene that appeared on the Death Star in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, where Darth Vader brought the young Luke Skywalker before this throne, allowing the Sith Lord Palpatine to personally tempt Luke to join the dark side.
This Emperor Palpatine & Throne set faithfully recreates Palpatine's evil and grotesque visage, with his black cloak made from fabric material. The throne itself is intricately sculpted with various details from the movie prop, allowing the Palpatine figure to be placed on the throne to display the ultimate villain's powerful aura. Accessories include Palpatine's cane and Force lightning effects, enabling collectors to recreate his sinister posture when he fails to persuade Luke and launches an attack!
