Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO recently announced a new product based on the classic series "Batman: The Animated Series"—the "Bane" 1/6 scale articulated figure, with a suggested retail price of US$220, expected to ship in September 2024!
Airing on Fox Kids from 1992 to 1995, "Batman: The Animated Series" (BTAS) was distributed by Warner Bros. Animation. The series was inspired by Tim Burton's "Batman" films and 1940s Superman cartoons, excelling in every aspect from plot, art, voice acting, to sound effects, making it an absolute must-watch masterpiece when discussing Batman's audiovisual works!
This upcoming 1/6 scale articulated figure of Batman's classic villain, "Bane," faithfully recreates Bane's iconic wrestler-inspired look from the show. The paint application uses a flat coloring style to capture the series' two-dimensional cartoon aesthetic. Accessories include two interchangeable head sculpts, three sets of interchangeable hands, a cartoon-style dumbbell, and a Batarang crushed by Bane's superhuman strength. The limited-time special edition further includes a sculpted upper body depicting Bane's abnormally muscular physique after injecting Venom, along with an unmasked head sculpt and the mask itself, offering more interesting display options! However, the special edition is currently sold out for pre-order on the official website, so interested collectors might need to spend some time searching for it!
