Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced the latest products from the anime "Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night": "Mahiru Kōzuki" and "Kanon Yamanouchi" character figures, slated for release in April and May 2024!
The original TV anime "Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night," produced by Japanese animation studio Doga Kobo to commemorate its 50th anniversary, unfolds with "Mahiru Kōzuki," a high school girl dubbed a "mass-produced type." In her childhood, she was active as an illustrator named "Yoru Kurage," but lost confidence due to peer pressure, gradually abandoning her dreams and living an ordinary life... until she met former idol "Nonoka Tachibana" (Kanon Yamanouchi) on the bustling streets of Shibuya. Drawn to each other's talents, the two formed the anonymous artist group "JELEE"—perhaps they can become people who shine brightly!
The BANPRESTO prize figure "Mahiru Kōzuki" stands approximately 20 cm tall. Featuring an original outfit, Mahiru is depicted in stylish overalls, with her legs crossed in a striding pose and her arm outstretched, looking youthful and adorable! The "Kanon Yamanouchi" character figure, on the other hand, stands 21 cm tall, showcasing her full personality with a cool beanie, a crop top, and a jacket casually draped, a must-have pose for social media influencers!
