Issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the 'Figure-rise Standard Amplified' series, which amplifies the expressive power of characters through model kit specifications, today announced that the latest work from "Yu-Gi-Oh!", "The Winged Dragon of Ra", will be exhibited as a prototype at Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024, with the release date yet to be determined.
Currently, 3DCG images of the developing "Figure-rise Standard Amplified The Winged Dragon of Ra" have been released. The overall design style is similar to the first product, "Exodia the Forbidden One (Amplified)", incorporating more exaggerated and richly detailed sculpting based on the original silhouette. The full body armor features more intricate layering, with new geometric and hieroglyphic carvings added to the shoulder and knee armor. The original pair of massive wings has also been split into two pairs, allowing for diverse posing through multi-directional movable joints.
The product is currently still under development, and the released 3DCG images are not yet colored. The full appearance of the latest prototype is expected to be revealed at the "Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024" held on May 08, 2024.
