Japan's Megahouse toy company has finally announced the official release of its brand-new "MEGA TOON" series, which brings "Yu-Gi-Oh!" monster cards to life in three dimensions! The first wave features two products: "Dark Magician" and "Slifer the Sky Dragon". "Dark Magician" is one of Yugi Muto's ace monsters. Its true form was Mahad, one of the six priests serving the ancient Pharaoh Atem (the original Yami Yugi), who fused his soul with his spirit "Illusion Magician". In the original "Yu-Gi-Oh!" series, the creator of the monster cards, Maximillion Pegasus, created a special "Toon Deck" out of personal preference. When activated, it not only cartoonifies all of the player's monsters but also possesses the incredibly overpowered effect that "Toon monsters can only be damaged by Toon monsters"!
The deformed figure "MEGATOON Dark Magician" is crafted in an adorable toon style based on the card illustration. It reinterprets the originally cool Dark Magician with a two-head proportion, making its sharp gaze completely harmless!
