Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX" has announced a new Marvel "X-Men" comic-themed product—the "Rogue" action figure. The suggested retail price is 12,980 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2025!
"Rogue" first appeared in 1981's "Avengers Annual" #10 and is one of the key members of the X-Men. Rogue's English name "Rogue" means a thief, as she possesses the superpower to absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personalities, and physical abilities of anyone she touches. Occasionally, she can also replicate the victim's physical characteristics. However, this ability is not limitless; prolonged contact can permanently strip the target of their powers, or even lead to their death.
This Rogue action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall and is crafted based on her comic book appearance, faithfully recreating her classic yellow and green X-Men costume. The green sections on her arms and legs are rendered with metallic paint, while her short jacket is made from a leather-like fabric, showcasing Rogue's charm with high quality! In terms of accessories, in addition to two interchangeable head sculpts allowing for a playful smile and an angry expression, interchangeable hand parts with and without gloves also enable collectors to recreate her using her powers!
