In the late 1970s, Mattel Toys introduced robot toys such as Mazinger Z and Getter Robo from POPY, a subsidiary of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., combining multiple products to launch the "Shogun Warriors" robot toy series. In addition to various size options ranging from 5 to 24 inches, each robot in the series featured spring-loaded launchers capable of firing various weapons. SUPER7's "Super Shogun" series combines the design concept of the Shogun Warriors with multiple IP licenses acquired by the company, offering a toy line that boasts both large scale and playability.
This "Mechagodzilla (Metallic)" stands approximately 50.8 cm tall, with its design originating from the classic 1974 film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla." It is a recolored version of the previously released "Toho Super Shogun Mechagodzilla." The overall design faithfully recreates the classic look of the original Mechagodzilla, with three missile-launching fingers on each hand, and rollers on its feet for free movement. Although the option for a belly sticker has been removed this time, the metallic finish significantly enhances the texture, showcasing a cool and distinct style compared to the previous version!
