Bandai Spirits Japan today (10th) announced the latest product from Ultraman Z, the "Sound x Action Shout! Ultraman Z" (tentative translation, サウンド×アクション 叫ぶ！ウルトラマンゼット) action figure! It is scheduled to be released on July 27, 2024, with a suggested retail price of 3,960 JPY (tax included).
In Ultraman Z, the transformation sequence of protagonist Haruki and Z always concludes with Z saying "Shout my name loudly!" and Haruki shouting "Ultraman Z!", a spectacular and cool transformation that always ignites excitement! This articulated figure, sculpted based on Z's original form, stands approximately 18 cm tall and features 22 points of articulation across its body. Not only can it flexibly recreate Z's dynamic poses, but by pressing the button on its back, it can play over 60 lines of dialogue and special move sound effects! In addition to the essential "Shout my name loudly!" line, the iconic "Zestium Kosen" attack sound is also included.
In Ultraman Z Episode 2, "The Warrior's Code," after Haruki learns that Z is actually 5,000 years old and immediately switches to honorifics due to his previous informal speech, Z, feeling very uncomfortable, utters the line "Ultra Disgusting (ウルトラ気持ち悪い)" – that's hilarious!
