Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced the latest plastic model kit, "Artinia," from "Fumikane Shimada ART WORKS," slated for release in January 2025.

The newly released Artinia is an original character designed by illustrator Fumikane Shimada, appearing as a special agent from the Martian Biological Bureau in the art book "Fumikane Shimada ART WORKS II." Kotobukiya has leveraged its expertise cultivated through producing popular Bishoujo plastic model kits like "Frame Arms Girl" and "Megami Device" to create Fumikane Shimada's original characters into model products that combine excellent sculpting, coloring, and articulation.

"Artinia" is a modified version based on the first release, "Arshia," featuring a new hairstyle and pre-painted face parts to reproduce a different look from Arshia. Head accessories such as the hat, HUD visor, and mask can also be freely detached and swapped.

By equipping various armor parts and mechanical-style arms onto the base body, the armed form can be recreated. In addition to the gun and single-handed sword originally included with Arshia, this release also includes newly designed accessories by Fumikane Shimada, such as a "Large Long Sword," "Long-Range Rifle," and "Movable Weapon Hanger," allowing for a wider array of armaments to enjoy various battle scenes.
