Hong Kong's renowned toy brand threezero's robot alloy articulated series "ROBO-DOU (ロボ道)" today (24th) announced its latest product based on the "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition" theme: the "Evangelion Unit-13" (エヴァンゲリオン第13号機) non-scale articulated figure! Pre-orders will open on July 25th at 9:00 AM at the threezero Store, with an estimated shipping start in Q2 2025.
Appearing in "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" and "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", Unit-13 was called the "final instrument" in the ritual by Gendo Ikari, serving as the key to initiating the Fourth Impact and realizing the Human Instrumentality Project. It is a dual-entry plug, two-person co-piloted EVA, with protagonists Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa as its pilots. Its appearance is similar to Unit-01, but with slight differences in paintwork and the shape of the horn on its head. It also has two pairs of eyes (the upper pair corresponding to pilot α, the lower pair to pilot β), and its chest features X-shaped cross armor, concealing a second pair of arms.
This ROBO-DOU rendition of Unit-13 stands at an impressive 28 cm tall, boasting 50 points of articulation throughout its body. Crafted from composite materials such as ABS, PVC, POM, and a die-cast zinc alloy frame, it not only faithfully reproduces the unit's colors, intricate mechanical details, and slender proportions, but also offers a wealth of variations through its diverse array of accessories! These include two head sculpts (normal state and red-eyed state), interchangeable chest armor, an extra pair of arms, RS Hoppers (floating defensive devices), interchangeable back armor, a clear stand, RS Hopper attack effect parts, A.T. Field effect parts, two Spears of Longinus, and a rich selection of interchangeable hands and a display stand, allowing for the recreation of Unit-13's powerful cinematic poses!
