株式会社 PROOF (プルーフ), dedicated to the development and production of high-quality collectible toy models, has launched a new product based on the classic anime "Inuyasha" – the "Kagome Higurashi" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 34,650 JPY, with an estimated release in March 2025!

Kagome Higurashi, the protagonist of Rumiko Takahashi's manga "Inuyasha," was accidentally dragged into an old well by the demoness Mistress Centipede on her fifteenth birthday, traveling through time back to the Sengoku period. There, she met the half-demon Inuyasha and broke the seal on him. A series of accidents led her to shatter the Shikon Jewel, which had been incinerated with Kikyo. From then on, she embarked on a journey with Inuyasha to search for the fragments of the Shikon Jewel. It was later revealed that Kagome is the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, 500 years later.

This Kagome Higurashi 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 32 cm tall. It is sculpted based on an illustration from the TV anime depicting Kagome in her miko attire, capturing her focused expression as she draws her bow and aims at a target. The intricate folds of her miko outfit and the dynamic flow of her hair are meticulously reproduced, and even the lacing details on the sleeves are precisely recreated. Furthermore, the base features elements like grass and bamboo, presenting a beautiful image of the maiden holding her breath, poised to attack within a bamboo forest!
