Japanese toy brand PROOF, which releases various anime-related merchandise, gashapon toys, and PVC figures, is scheduled to release a 1/7 scale figure of the popular character "Baiken" from the popular fighting game "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-" in March 2025, priced at 22,000 JPY.
Players who enjoy 2D fighting games are certainly no strangers to "GUILTY GEAR", released by Arc System Works. Since its first title launched on the original PlayStation console, the series has garnered significant fan support with its unique style, exaggerated combat feel, fluid combos, and anime-quality graphics. Over the past two decades, numerous titles have been released, with the latest being "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-", launched in June 2021.
Baiken can be considered a veteran character of the GUILTY GEAR series. Despite her sexy and voluptuous figure, she is a heroic woman with a bold and uninhibited spirit. In her childhood, due to a GEAR attack, she lost an arm and an eye. A smoker, she appears as a one-armed swordswoman, skilled in fighting with hidden weapons and traps.
This Baiken figure by PROOF is crafted at 1/7 scale, standing approximately 27 cm tall. Based on Baiken's appearance in the latest "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-", she holds a pipe in her right hand, with her katana hanging at her waist, and a somewhat playful, disdainful expression on her face, as if looking down on everything. Baiken's long pink hair and the intricate, vibrant patterns on her kimono are all exquisitely detailed. The base she stands on features a tatami mat pattern, complemented by a few fallen maple leaves, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
