From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the S.H.Figuarts action figure brand will release a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" themed product – the "Spider-Man (Miles Morales) 1610 Rooftop Ver." action figure. The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2024!
The story of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" continues from the previous installment. One year and four months have passed since protagonist Miles Morales became Spider-Man in Universe 1610. He has successfully combated numerous criminals but still deeply misses his Spider-Friends. At this moment, Ghost-Spider – Gwen Stacy – appears before Miles, making him aware of the existence of the multiverse's Spider-Society. To defeat The Spot, who is gradually transforming into a powerful multiversal-level enemy, Miles follows Gwen's footsteps on an adventure to explore his own existence and save the multiverse.
This limited edition Miles 1610 Rooftop Ver. stands approximately 15.5 cm tall. It is inspired by the scene in the movie where Miles and Gwen chat while swinging through the city in Universe 1610, eventually hanging upside down and talking at the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower. It is based on the previously released "Spider-Man (Miles Morales)" and has been modified with a pearlescent paint finish to capture the colors of the New York City twilight and the city's glow reflecting on the Spider-suit. For accessories, it retains Miles's raised-eyebrow smiling head sculpt and adds new squinting eye parts for the masked look. Additionally, new interchangeable hands with electric discharge effects are included. From the current official images, it also finally includes the clenched fist interchangeable parts that fans were most concerned about in the previous version. Paired with the simultaneously released "Spider-Woman Gwen 1610 Rooftop Ver.", you can recreate the romantic rooftop scene from the movie!
▼The base print this time has also been changed to feature the effect when traversing the multiverse with the wristband!
