Following Guts, GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan is set to release the latest product in its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different items, featuring the popular anime "Berserk" as its theme: the "Nendoroid Griffith"! The suggested retail price is 7,500 JPY, with an anticipated release in March 2025.
Griffith—a man sworn to reach the pinnacle of his dreams, once Guts' closest friend who understood him best, yet after being tormented by the cruel twists of fate, he became Guts' greatest nemesis in his quest for revenge. Born into poverty, he tirelessly pursued the grand dream of "owning his own country," subsequently forming the mercenary group "Band of the Hawk." Through undefeated military achievements, he ascended to noble status. Just as he was about to attain the rank of "White Phoenix General," Guts' departure from the band dealt him a severe blow. In despair, Griffith engaged in an affair with Princess Charlotte, leading to his disgrace. His fall from grace culminated in his choice to summon the "Eclipse," sacrificing all his comrades and allies to gain a new form: Femto, the Hawk of Darkness, becoming the last of the five God Hand to appear.
The "Nendoroid Griffith" recreates the Band of the Hawk leader's fair skin, handsome face, distinctive wavy white hair, and other features in a Q-version (chibi) sculpt. His silver-white armor and sword are finished with a high-quality metallic paint application, and the feather details on the armor are intricately sculpted. The cape on his back is also designed to be articulated. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, he comes with two interchangeable face plates: a serious "earnest face" and a cool "sideways glance face." His accessory, the "saber," can be displayed in both drawn and sheathed forms.
