Japan's Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON division will release the adorable cat-themed Gashapon "Cat Art" (tentative translation, ねこあーと) in the first week of August 2024! The suggested retail price is 300 Japanese Yen per capsule, with a total of 6 styles to collect.
Toy enthusiasts who also serve as cat owners must be well-versed in the concepts of "cats are liquid" and "cat physics"! These felines from the planet of soft and flexible bones always manage to squeeze themselves into various containers or impossibly tight spaces, and then fall asleep.
This time, GASHAPON's Cat Art takes various interesting cat sleeping poses as its theme, rendered in three dimensions at a size of approximately 4 cm. In addition to carving out fur textures and painting various patterns, the bottom also features a flat contact surface as much as possible, allowing toy enthusiasts to stack the cats at various angles, creating a rich array of interesting scenes. This also breaks the limitation of just collecting one set; the more you collect, the more fun it is! Stack your own exclusive "cat mountain" on your desk.
The six styles in this collection include Calico Cat (ミケ), Hachiware Cat A (ハチワレ), Silver Tabby Cat (サバトラ), Hachiware Cat B (ハチワレB), White Cat (シロ), and Black Cat (クロ).
