The ultra-high-end alloy finished model series "METAL STRUCTURE", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today announced the latest product, "ν Gundam Dedicated Option Parts: Weapon Enhancement Plan", scheduled for release in January 2025.
"METAL STRUCTURE" thoroughly re-analyzes fictional mobile suits from their appearance, design, performance, equipment, and other settings. Through methods such as three-dimensional perspective sketches and detailed mechanical verification, imagination is transformed into reality. It also incorporates accumulated issues and analyses to derive unprecedented structures and design concepts, culminating in a new product that is the crystallization of numerous efforts. Utilizing thousands of parts made from die-cast alloy, ABS, POM, PVC, etched parts, and more, it showcases ultimate craftsmanship.
This third installment of ν Gundam dedicated option parts, the "Weapon Enhancement Plan", brings together a variety of armaments from ν Gundam's related developmental forms and variants. It re-designs them with a super-high-resolution mechanical structure, integrating the METAL STRUCTURE style. The included prototype beam rifle and prototype shield originate from the "ν Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Equipped Type)", while the backpack, featuring armaments such as beam sabers/beam cannons and wire-guided cannons, is based on the "Mass Production Type ν Gundam" setting.
The prototype beam rifle can be disassembled into 6 parts for customization, allowing for variations with different ranges and rates of fire. The two beam cannons on the back can be rotated forward to recreate firing poses, and when detached, they can be combined with large beam effects to be used as beam sabers. The backpack features an unfolding mechanism, allowing the two wire-guided cannons stored on each side to deploy, simultaneously revealing the intricate internal structure and painted details.
Included are fin funnel support parts to recreate the "ν Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Equipped Type)", which require the separately sold ν Gundam main unit and Fin Funnel Expansion Parts. Additionally, the set includes a dedicated display base that can simultaneously store and display all armament parts, as well as 6 mini-figures, including Amuro and maintenance crew.
