Japanese toy brand Kaiyodo's "Amazing Yamaguchi (アメコミヤマグチ)" articulated figure series, known for its astonishing posability, released the "Arkham Knight" in 2021. Today (8/1), they announced the "Arkham Knight (アーカム・ナイト) Ver.1.5", which includes firearm accessories! It is scheduled for release in June 2025, with a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY.
In the game setting of "Batman: Arkham Knight," the Arkham Knight's true identity is the original second Robin, "Jason Todd." Kidnapped by the Joker, Jason was subjected to continuous cruel torture in Arkham Asylum for an entire year... The Joker even branded a "J" onto his face; although Jason ultimately survived, his mind had already collapsed. He then redirected his anger and hatred towards Bruce, who had abandoned him. Donning military battle armor and leading a group of well-trained soldiers, Jason returned to Gotham, becoming a terrifying and formidable enemy who knew Batman's weaknesses: the Arkham Knight.
The "Amazing Yamaguchi Arkham Knight Ver.1.5" stands approximately 17 cm tall. Its overall design is essentially the same as the initial release of the Arkham Knight, meticulously recreating the intricately designed military battle armor with its rich details, as well as the sharply sculpted helmet. It can also utilize interchangeable parts such as a replacement head, chest armor, and shoulder armor to display the "Red Hood" appearance!
The weaponry includes two katanas with red blades, two short swords with wavy blades, and, newly added for this Ver.1.5, two pistols crafted according to the game's design, along with a rifle formed by combining the two pistols. Coupled with multiple interchangeable hands, this allows for showcasing the Arkham Knight's more comprehensive combat stances!
