Japan's official "Mobile Suit Gundam" GunPla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, today announced that the latest limited item from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket," the "HG Dra-C E," is scheduled to be sold in stores starting August 24, 2024.
The RH-35E Dra-C E is a combat mobile suit used by the Riah Republic Army in "War in the Pocket." This unit was modified from the civilian engineering machine "Dra-C" and is equipped with armaments such as beam sabers, short-range missiles, and Gatling guns. Compared to standard mobile suits, it has a smaller body and a more simplified structure, possessing a certain level of combat capability, but its mobility still has a huge difference, especially when facing high-mobility types like the Kampfer in the series, it was completely unable to contend.
The "HG Dra-C E" is made with completely new parts, faithfully reproducing its anime design with precise sculpting. The exterior armor parts are molded in the distinctive earthy yellow color of the Riah Army. In addition to articulated joints in the waist and limbs, the auxiliary arms on the forearms and the cockpit hatch on the head can also open, revealing the detailed interior cockpit. Furthermore, accessories allow for replacing both arms with engineering arms, and by painting the unit green yourself, you can recreate the Zeon Army specifications.
