GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE," based on the popular work "Delicious in Dungeon," is releasing the much-discussed item previously exhibited at Smile Fest 2024: the "POP UP PARADE Farlin (Chimera) XL size" PVC figure! The suggested retail price is 39,800 JPY, with an anticipated release in May 2025.
In "Delicious in Dungeon," the protagonist Laios's younger sister, "Farlin," was swallowed by a Red Dragon during a dungeon battle while protecting her brother, leading to the complete annihilation of Laios's party... To rescue his sister, Laios once again challenges the dungeon, and thus the story of Delicious in Dungeon begins. Although absent at the beginning of the story, Farlin's character can be pieced together from the memories of others: she is gentle and kind, possesses a compassionate heart even towards monsters, always squints due to poor eyesight, and is a close friend of Marcille, whom she met at magic school.
The "POP UP PARADE Farlin (Chimera) XL size" faithfully recreates the impressive "Farlin Chimera form" from the story. Standing at a massive 26 cm, this XL size figure maintains the intricate details of Farlin's human body while presenting an overwhelmingly accurate proportion for her chimera form, making it an unprecedentedly huge addition to the series! The feathers covering her body are delicately sculpted to convey a fluffy texture, and the distinct individual veins of her wings exude a powerful presence. The Red Dragon scales and talons are meticulously carved and given a glossy finish to emphasize their hard texture, creating a striking contrast with the feathers.
▼Farlin's human form boasts elegant lines, and her sharp gaze with open eyes is utterly captivating!
▼The Good Smile Company Online Store bonus is an interchangeable face part for Farlin.
