Fellow toy collectors, it's time to feel the romance of robots! Our Toy Adventurers team got up bright and early on Monday morning to visit TAMASHII SPOT TAIPEI, the dedicated space for BANDAI SPIRITS' collectors division TAMASHII NATIONS located in the Taipei City Mall. We're bringing you this on-site report from the currently red-hot "CHOGOKIN 50th Anniversary Exhibition"! Let's take a look at the spectacular lineup of exhibits, headlined by Mazinger Z!
Event Information
Dates: 8/2 (Fri) - 9/29 (Sun)
Venue: TAMASHII SPOT TAIPEI ~BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toys Special Event Space~
Hours: 12:00 - 20:15 (Open daily)

First up is the lineup of Chogokin 50th Anniversary exclusive items, including the METAL BUILD Evangelion Unit-01, METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Wing Gundam Zero, and the dazzling, golden Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z, complete with a captivating Chogokin 50th Anniversary themed base!
Next is the exhibition exclusive, available for purchase only here: the "Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z KAKUMEI SHINKA - mastermind JAPAN EDITION"! This piece is a collaboration with the Japanese apparel design brand mastermind JAPAN, infusing their classic skull logo to create a Castle of Iron with a distinct street-style vibe! It's incredibly cool.
In addition to the Mazinger Z figure itself, the T-shirt and packaging box displayed behind it also showcase an excellent design sense. The outer box can even be fitted with a skull-themed sleeve to add display versatility. It really makes you want to take both this black and the gold Mazinger Z home.
This Chogokin exhibition not only speaks through its years of toy products, allowing collectors to feel the charm of Bandai's die-cast toys in the most direct way, but it also features displays on the 50-year history of Chogokin, the evolution and challenges it has faced, and more, giving you a more comprehensive understanding of the brand.
