GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand products, has announced the latest release from Gintama: the "Nendoroid Sakata Gintoki". It is priced at 6,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024.

The man known as Sakata Gintoki, once the "White Yaksha" who dominated the Joui War, striking fear into hearts with his formidable swordsmanship and surprise attacks on the battlefield—now runs the "Yorozuya" (Odd Jobs) with Glasses (Shinpachi), Kagura, and Sadaharu, taking on any task. He has become a grumpy old man (actual age 27→29) with lazy dead-fish eyes who loves picking his nose and gets irritable if he doesn't have sweets.

The "Nendoroid Sakata Gintoki" recreates Gintoki in a 10 cm small, Q-version style. Hmph! The genius Gintoki from Otaki Factory has been out for so long, and the *real* Gintoki is only just now finally making his Nendoroid debut? He comes with three interchangeable face plates: his signature "lazy face," a mischievous "scheming smile," and a (?) "serious face" for when he's fixated on sweets. Paired with accessories like his "Lake Toya" wooden sword, "strawberry parfait," and "strawberry milk," you can enjoy his daily life teetering on the edge of diabetes! In addition to his hands tucked into his half-white, blue-patterned kimono, he also includes a nose-picking hand and other interchangeable hand parts. His partners Shinpachi and Kagura are also making their debut simultaneously!
