Taiwanese IP characters are once again making their way into Japanese gashapon machines! KOROKORO (コロコロ), a gashapon brand under Japan's IP4 Corporation, has partnered with Taiwan's popular picture book "Takokuma" to launch the colorful and adorable 'Takokuma Sweet Color Soft Vinyl Gashapon', slated to debut in November 2024!
The 'KOROKORO Takokuma Sweet Color Soft Vinyl Gashapon' features a small 6cm size and is inspired by various dessert colors. In addition to the classic black, the cute Takokuma also comes in delicious salted caramel, French Earl Grey, pistachio, and lemon pastel shades. Don't they look absolutely delectable?
Originating from a picture book, "Takokuma" tells the story of a Takokuma, not found in animal encyclopedias, embarking on an adventurous journey because it cannot live in a zoo. The picture book "Takokuma: Looking for Friends" was released in February this year. The story describes the fun and heartwarming daily life of Takokuma, born on an island, and its good friends—Captain 22, the Raccoon Brothers who own an apple orchard, and Harry Harry the Hedgehog who is always sleeping—as they experience various adventures on the island. The lively and endearing story is not only suitable for children but will also bring comfort to adults ♥
