Bandai Spirits' "Special Memorize" series, which recreates various props from childhood anime, is launching a new product—the "Babubabu Hana-chan" (バブバブハナちゃん)—to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the classic anime "Ojamajo Doremi." The suggested retail price is 6,930 JPY, with an estimated release in February 2025!
In the second season, "Ojamajo Doremi #," DoReMi and her friends, now in fourth grade, one day entered the Witch World's Queen's Garden and witnessed the birth of a witch baby from the Queen's Rose. The Queen named her "Hana-chan" and entrusted the Little Witches with her care for a year, thus beginning their new daily life as witch nannies.
This "Special Memorize Babubabu Hana-chan" is a revamped and re-released version of the original toy launched in 2000 during the broadcast of "Ojamajo Doremi #," now in a size and form suitable for adult play and collection. Baby Hana-chan has been made into a doll approximately 18 cm tall and now includes a sound mechanism, featuring recordings by Hana-chan's voice actress, Ikue Otani. Touching Hana-chan's forehead will trigger laughter and a "Yes" (はーい) sound effect! In addition to the original animated baby outfit, the fabric-made clothing now also includes Hana-chan's appearance from the movie "Ojamajo Doremi # The Flower of Wishes." It also comes with pacifiers in various colors, allowing all toy enthusiasts to experience what it was like for DoReMi and her friends to care for Hana-chan!
