Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced the first product based on the web animation "The Amazing Digital Circus" for its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: "Nendoroid Pomni"! The suggested retail price is 6,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in February 2025.
"The Amazing Digital Circus" (TADC for short), the most-watched independent animation in YouTube history, is a dark comedy disguised with cute characters and vibrant colors. The story centers on a woman trapped in a virtual digital circus game. In this world, no one can remember their original name. The circus's AI leader, Caine, named her "Pomni" and organized an adventure game to celebrate the new member's arrival. Pomni only wants to find an exit to leave this bizarre and eerie place, but her companions warned her: "If you keep insisting on escaping, you will gradually break down... and when you reach your breaking point, something truly terrifying will happen..."
"Nendoroid Pomni" stands approximately 10 cm tall, bringing the colorful and adorable clown design from The Amazing Digital Circus to life! It includes three interchangeable face plates: a "confused face" expressing bewilderment in this space, a "terrified face" with narrowed lower eyelids, and a "glitch face" showing her descent into chaos. Accessories include a "bleep" sound effect part for censored swearing, a "glitch hand" that has become abstract, and an exit door that she constantly searches for in the space, among others. The inner packaging background sheet features the game space of The Amazing Digital Circus, which can be used as a backdrop!
