Kotobukiya, a Japanese model manufacturer, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced the release of a new product in their "Sousai Shojo Teien" series of everyday bishojo plastic model kits: "Seira Ichijo [Reiho High School - Summer Uniform]", scheduled for February 2025.
Seira Ichijo attends Reiho High School. She's a motherly gyaru who cheers on anyone she sees working hard and loves to take care of her friends like Emma and Rui. She has an outgoing and sunny personality and a strong sense of justice. While she doesn't usually get angry, she becomes formidable when protecting her important friends and family. Seira, who is skilled at cooking, currently works part-time at a diner. Her goal is to become a stylist who makes protagonists shine even brighter, much like the Fairy Godmother in "Cinderella".
"Seira Ichijo [Reiho High School - Summer Uniform]" utilizes newly sculpted parts to recreate her tall physique and gyaru-style attire such as her tied-waist cardigan and loose socks. The purple highlights in her bangs are achieved with separate molded parts. Even the side ponytail, which was the most challenging to develop, features a complex hair bundle structure and a light, bouncy feel.
Four pre-painted interchangeable face parts are included: "Smiling Face," "Mischievous Grin," "Guffawing Face," and "Furious Face." Morikura En's beautifully drawn pupils are perfectly reproduced using high-resolution tampo printing technology. Additionally, four identical unpainted face parts are also included, allowing for custom expressions using the included water-slide decals.
In addition to the main body's flexible articulation design, accessories include a body part for leaning forward poses, a sitting pose part, and three skirt parts corresponding to various poses. With a rich array of accessories such as a school bag, mobile phone, 12 pairs of sculpted hands, and bare feet, you can recreate various everyday scenes!
Furthermore, Kotobukiya has also simultaneously released two "Freestyle Wigs" series products designed to be used with Seira: "Side Down Hair", which exudes a mature aura with its natural hair bundles, and "Long Wavy Hair", which showcases a luxurious and mature style with its natural waves.
