Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (16th) announced two commemorative products celebrating Batman's 85th Anniversary, both from the video game "Batman: Arkham Knight": "Batman Beyond (Black & Gold Version)" and "Batgirl (Purple & Gold Version)"! In the game setting of "Batman: Arkham Knight," the true identity of the Arkham Knight is the original second Robin, "Jason Todd." Kidnapped by the Joker, Jason was subjected to brutal torture for a year in Arkham Asylum... the Joker even branded a "J" onto his face. Although Jason ultimately survived, his mind had already collapsed. He then redirected his anger and hatred towards Bruce, who had abandoned him. Donning military battle armor and leading a group of well-trained soldiers, Jason returned to Gotham, becoming a formidable and terrifying enemy who knew Batman's weaknesses: the Arkham Knight.

Deviating from Batman Beyond's classic black and red aesthetic, Hot Toys has chosen to present the mask, full body armor, utility belt, chest bat symbol, and even the cape's internal frame in a super dazzling gold. To complement the intricate design of the armor, multiple layers of gold, such as electroplated gold, bright platinum gold, and antique bronze gold, are used. The original red color is retained for the eyes, resulting in an overall magnificent appearance.
In addition to the armor, all of Batman Beyond's weapon accessories are also presented with a gold paint finish, exuding an opulent aura! This includes two Batarangs, one Batman Beyond-style Batarang, a Batclaw (with interchangeable grappling hooks and accessories to assemble into an R.E.C. Gun), an Explosive Gel device, a Disruptor Gun, a pistol, a freeze grenade, a dual-head rope launcher, and multiple interchangeable hands. The cape, of course, also features a built-in bendable wire, allowing for more dynamic posing of the figure. Coupled with the hot-stamped gold Bat-symbol on the base, it showcases a bold and eye-catching presence.
