After sweeping the Academy Awards with "Oppenheimer," Christopher Nolan's next film project is confirmed to be a reunion with Universal Pictures, once again bringing together a star-studded cast.
According to Deadline, Nolan is expected to begin filming his next movie with Universal early next year. It is currently slated for an IMAX release on July 17, 2026, a date that aligns with the release patterns of most of Nolan's previous works.
As with Nolan's past projects, the plot of this new film is being kept under wraps. However, Matt Damon, who previously collaborated with Nolan on "Interstellar" and "Oppenheimer," is in talks to star. This would mark his first time taking on a leading role under Nolan's direction.
This will be Damon's third collaboration with Nolan, making him one of the few actors, alongside Christian Bale and Cillian Murphy, to have worked with the acclaimed director at least three times.
