Following the standard release of Omegamon (X-Antibody), the 'Figure-rise Standard Amplified' series, issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division and designed to enhance character settings and the dynamic expression of model kits, has once again announced a new variant product, the 'Omegamon (X-Antibody) [Limited Color]', which will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
Digimon Chronicle (デジモンクロニクル), featuring settings like the X-Antibody and X-Program, is the background story for Bandai's 'Digimon Pendulum X' series, released in 2003. When the Old Digital World exceeded its capacity and faced collapse, the managing host computer 'Yggdrasill' initiated the 'Ark Project'. Through the 'X-Program', necessary Digimon were transferred to the New Digital World, while unnecessary ones were completely deleted. Digimon determined to resist developed the 'X-Antibody' to survive, while Yggdrasill dispatched powerful 'Royal Knights' to eliminate these anomalies...
Omegamon was the strongest Royal Knight, obedient to Yggdrasill, believing Yggdrasill represented absolute justice and deleting large numbers of unnecessary Digimon. However, when his ally 'Gallantmon' defected from the Royal Knights and was defeated by Omegamon himself, doubts began to arise in his heart, and the justice he believed in started to waver. Ultimately, guided by the protagonist Alphamon, he completely opposed Yggdrasill. When Alphamon sacrificed himself with the Ouryuken to defeat Dexmon, he entrusted the X-Antibody to Omegamon, allowing him to evolve into 'Omegamon X-Antibody' and destroy Yggdrasill with his ultimate move, 'ALL DELETE'.
The 'Figure-rise Standard Amplified Omegamon (X-Antibody) [Limited Color]' is based on the standard version, with most parts replaced by metallic molding colors to express a unique glossy texture. The packaging artwork features an illustration drawn by designer As'maria.
