Released by BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division of Japan, the 'RG (Real Grade)' Gunpla series, which incorporates exterior armor, internal frames, interlocking armor, and new technologies into 1/144 scale models, today officially announced the commercialization of its latest work from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", the "RG 1/144 Shining Gundam". A prototype has already been exhibited at the "62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show".
The GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam is the mobile fighter used by protagonist Domon Kasshu when representing Neo Japan in the 13th Gundam Fight. It features a design that prioritizes mobility while being excellent in both offense and defense. Utilizing heat dissipation, deployment, and interlocking mechanisms throughout its body, it can fully unleash Domon's "School of the Undefeated of the East" martial arts. This mobile suit also possesses the ability to react to its pilot's emotions; when Domon's anger reaches a certain level, the Shining Gundam enters the even more powerful "Super Mode".
The "RG 1/144 Shining Gundam" will inherit the excellent articulation of its predecessor, the "RG 1/144 God Gundam". It will also utilize multiple molded color parts and precise part separation to recreate its realistic exterior. The mobile suit will also feature deployable armor mechanisms in various areas such as the head, shoulder armor, and calves, recreating the heat dissipation state when "Super Mode" is activated. Paired with its special green hand parts, you can recreate the powerful pose of its finishing move, "Shining Finger"!
