Japan's renowned toy company GOOD SMILE COMPANY will release its latest product, the "Ultraman (Shin Japan Heroes Universe)" Polystone & Polyurethane & Plastic Pre-Painted Figure, based on the theme of "Shin Japan Heroes Universe (S.J.H.U.)"! The suggested retail price is 100,000 JPY, with an anticipated release in October 2025.
The "Shin Japan Heroes Universe (Shin Japan Heros Universe)," abbreviated as S.J.H.U., is a fusion of Japanese hero culture. It brings together Khara, Toei, Toho, and Tsuburaya Productions, uniting Hideaki Anno's "Shin" titled works: "Shin Godzilla", "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", "Shin Ultraman", and "Shin Kamen Rider". This miraculous, monumental project is also known as the Anno-verse. The promotional visual teaser was drawn by Mahiro Maeda.
The GSC "Ultraman (Shin Japan Heroes Universe)" Polystone & Polyurethane & Plastic Pre-Painted Figure is sculpted based on the iconic main visual illustration! Standing approximately 40 cm tall, the prototype was crafted by Tsuburaya Productions' sculptor Fuyuki Shinada. It faithfully recreates the physique and proportions of the original Ultraman suit actor, Mr. Bin Furuya, capturing his long limbs and elegant, streamlined form. The slightly crouched, ready-for-battle stance is remarkably natural and dynamic!
Similar to the other three characters from the Shin Japan Heroes Universe: Godzilla, Evangelion Unit-01, and Kamen Rider, the coloring was handled by painter Seshiru. It features the iconic silver and red color scheme, enhanced with muscle-line-like shadow painting to give the overall figure a greater sense of three-dimensionality. All four heroes come with a rock-themed display base that can be arranged together, allowing collectors to fully recreate the powerful main visual illustration!
