To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the powerful One Piece themed figure brand "Portrait.Of.Pirates" (P.O.P), released by Japanese toy company Megahouse, will launch a brand new series "Evolutionary History" crafted by combining P.O.P's accumulated history and latest technology. Today, the first release in the series was officially unveiled – the "Nami" pre-painted complete figure, with a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY, scheduled for release in late July 2025!
Nami initially, as the crew's navigator, did not possess strong combat abilities, but her combat prowess significantly improved after Usopp crafted the Clima-Tact for her. After guidance from the weather scientists of Weatheria, it was upgraded to the "Sorcery Clima-Tact." The weather eggs generated from the Sorcery Clima-Tact later allowed her to capture Big Mom's cheerful companion, Zeus, during the Whole Cake Island Arc.
This Evolutionary History Nami stands approximately 24 cm tall and features Nami in her futuristic attire from the "Egghead Arc," sculpted in a dynamic pose, holding a pistol and looking backward. The sculpting faithfully recreates Nami's curvaceous and voluptuous figure, with the fleshy curves extending from her hips to her calves also accurately reproduced. Her hair utilizes a translucent material combined with spray painting to create a slightly transparent visual effect, and is painted with pearlescent paint to capture the futuristic feel of her outfit. The deepened shadows from the spray painting also make the overall appearance more three-dimensional, reproducing Nami's appearance from the anime!
