Taiwanese toy design company "Asmus Toys", following Yusuke, Hiei, and Kuwabara, has once again announced its latest product from the popular anime "Yu Yu Hakusho": the "Kurama" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. It is currently available for pre-order on their official website and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
The popular character Kurama (くらま) from "Yu Yu Hakusho" is a powerful demon fox with immense demonic energy. Originally a notorious thief from the Demon World, he grew up in the human world under the identity of Shuichi Minamino. As a human, Kurama is a handsome man with red hair and green eyes, excellent academic performance, and a gentle demeanor; when transformed into his demon fox form, Yoko Kurama, he has long silver-white hair, golden eyes, a fox tail, and ears, with a more arrogant and cold attitude. He uses various demon world plants as weapons, most frequently the Rose Whip, formed from roses.
The "ASMUS TOYS Kurama Deluxe Edition" 1/6 scale collectible action figure is based on his appearance from the Dark Tournament arc. It features a fabric recreation of Kurama's yellow kung fu robe, with blue trim containing embedded wires, allowing for dynamic posing and a flowing effect. Additionally, it includes a set of maroon high school uniform, with Velcro fasteners hidden beneath the zipper for easy dressing and undressing. Kung fu shoes and leather shoes are included for interchangeable styling.
It comes with three interchangeable head sculpts: a smiling face, a serious expressionless face, and a closed-eye expression. These can be paired with interchangeable hand parts, a rose, and a "Paradise Lost" novel to recreate elegant everyday scenes. For weapons, his signature Rose Whip is included, allowing for dynamic whip-wielding poses! Flexible articulation in the arms, legs, head, and other areas enables a wide range of exciting poses, perfect for displaying powerful battle scenes. *The Deluxe Edition includes a complete additional articulated body, allowing both outfits to be displayed simultaneously!
