Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya's popular 'Frame Arms Girl' plastic model kit series has announced its latest product, "Wilbern Nine", slated for release in May 2025.
The prototype for this product comes from Kotobukiya's past 'Frame Arms' series mecha, "RF-12 Wilbern Nine". This unit, designed by Kotobukiya sculptor Katsuhiko Hori, not only boasts a unique appearance but also features a mechanism to transform into a "two-wheeled drive form". After being bishojo-fied by Eiji Komatsu, Wilbern Nine becomes a cool older sister heavy bike rider skilled in using dual pistols, inheriting the design where its external armor can transform into a motorcycle form.
"Frame Arms Girl Wilbern Nine" utilizes completely new parts to recreate the bishojo image designed by Eiji Komatsu. The articulated body faithfully reproduces the full-body costume design while also featuring flexible joint designs. It comes with three pre-painted face parts and multiple interchangeable hand parts, allowing for dynamic battle poses with the two Deringer pistols.
After disassembling the full body armor, it can independently transform into a motorcycle form for the main body to ride. The front and rear wheels can be swapped with two sizes of wheel parts (large and small). By deploying the "Finger Scythe" weapon at the rear, it can switch to attack mode.
