American collectible manufacturer Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS) announced early this morning (24th) the latest product in its "Fine Art Bust" series, a 1/1 scale "Darth Vader" bust, from the sci-fi epic "Star Wars"! Shipping is expected to begin in Q4 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$1,999.
The "Darth Vader Fine Art Bust" stands approximately 22 inches (about 55.8 cm) tall. In addition to faithfully recreating Darth Vader's classic black helmet in 1/1 scale, it also incorporates various classic moments from his journey "from the Chosen One's fall to the dark side, transforming into the Empire's terrifying Dark Lord." These include Anakin's duel with his former master and close friend Obi-Wan Kenobi on the lava planet Mustafar, Vader's half-bust extending his left hand to entice Luke to join the dark side, and the scene of him kneeling before the Emperor in submission.
Simultaneously, the side of Lord Vader's helmet features the surface texture and design of the Galactic Empire's ultimate weapon, the "Death Star," accompanied by a Star Destroyer, fully showcasing his identity as the Empire's infamous general. Coupled with the fighter chase in the Death Star trench and the fortress on Mustafar, the overall piece truly evokes an epic sense spanning decades! Furthermore, the Emperor, rendered between reality and illusion with holographic effects, and the enhanced visual tension provided by the LED light-up function, make it incredibly cool.
